My latest story “Mayta Gravy” was published on the website Eat, Darling Eat. This one is very close to my heart. When first asked if I could submit a story here, I didn’t think I could say yes. This wonderful website is a collection of true stories about mothers and daughters and food. My mother is gone now, and the thought of writing about her just seemed impossibly painful. But then my husband reminded me of a story about her and the beginning of our marriage, and well… I wrote it. I hope you like it. I think you’ll also enjoy the other stories on the site.
